MTAA Super approached the market looking for a partner to help them improve the way they deliver their core focuses (Member Engagement, Data Management and Analytics, Business Process Improvement, Workforce Enablement and Core Infrastructure and Cloud Technology) from their 2018-2021 IT Strategy and help them move them away from their existing Google Suite onto Office 365. Following the migration, MTAA Super needed managed service support to: meet all of their IT requirements; maintain their workstation assets; manage their Office 365 tenancy; support their staff with adoption and usage of the new modern workplace suite.
In their current state, MTAA Super was using different technology platforms in every office which made consistency and collaboration between remote staff difficult.
Veritec rolled out Office 365 (SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Outlook) across all MTAA Super locations and successfully migrated all data from their Google Suite platform.
Our Managed Services and Modern Workplace teams then developed a Service Transition Plan. This included support for MTAA Super’s current services while the migration to Office 365 took place. The transition plan included:
- upgrading some of their aging systems and equipment
- actioning service requests and incidents
- implementing proactive updates and configurations to address risks to service before they become issues
- implementing a collaborative document management system using SharePoint that allows co-authoring and accurate version control using a platform that can be accessed from any device.
