The Challenge

Veritec’s Capabiliti LMS product was experiencing increasing issues with the current data centre solution including network reliability, limited security protection, and forced to use the providers complex management tools. Importantly the current Windows Server 2008r2 was reaching end of life without the option to update to 2012 or 2016, and the cost of the data centre hosting services were much higher than competitors at the time.

The Solution

Veritec analysed the current platform to identify the best suited hosting solution to meet the systems requirements. Including operating system uplift automated and centralised management systems as well as increased visibility of the whole solution. Veritec’s rapid engineering process allowed the migration to be achieved within a reduced timeframe. In parallel, the engineering teams automated the solution for end to end deployment of the system.

The Benefits

Veritec was able to achieve increased service security, availability, and performance as well as cost savings through the migration of the Capabiliti LMS Product to the Microsoft Azure platform.
